i have been absent for so long, for so many reasons.

regardless.

i'm back.

i think.

we'll see how long it lasts this time.

we just had such a fabulous summer.

our kids are growing up before our very eyes.

here are so highlights from our summer.

 - park adventures with cousins -

- paxton, piper, tatum, huck, quinn, jovie -
stookey cousins


- lake chelan with my parents -
gorgeous sunset due to the wild fires

paxton {2-1/2}
piper {9 months}


- these two really are something else -
 
- tatum, pax & huck with papa choo-choo - 

- evening walks in the backyard after dinner -

- paxton and piper got baptized -

We're so happy to anounce Piper's arrival!

Piper was born October 29th at 2:31 am.

She weighed in at 7 lbs, 1 oz.

She was 20 inches long (beating her brother in length by 1/2 an inch).

I can't say enough about how much I LOVED my labor this time. 
I was in control, calm, and not afraid. 

Here's a photo dump from the last week in no particular order ...

When Paxton met his new sister, she gave him a toy!

By the way, I'm kinda famous for saying, "I'm not really into pink."

Right after I gave birth and they cleaned her off a bit.

Once again, CLEARLY not into pink.

Chair. The same chair my mama rocked me in when I was a baby. It's terribly uncomfortable. I truly have no idea how she did it. I'll still never get rid of it.
