Carlo Ancelotti claimed that he does not care if Arsenal target Marco Asensio leaves the club. A report claims that Arsenal had been looking to submit an offer for signing Asensio, the attacking midfielder of Real Madrid. The Spanish international is ready to be out of contract towards the end of the season and does not appear to be close to signing an extension, especially after hearing the recent comment of Ancelotti.
Asensio is not exactly the first name on Real Madrid’s team sheet and it appears that Ancelotti is not going to beg any player to stick to the club. In case a player does not want to be at Real Madrid, then so be it.
Ancelotti has many talented players to choose from and enough funds at hand for bringing in new options. Hence, you would imagine Real Madrid to have all the cards at the time of negotiations. Nevertheless, Asensio should have a good amount of offers towards the end of the season with clubs making attempts to choose him up on a free transfer.
Carlos Ancelotti has confirmed that the wonder kid from Uruguay is going to replace Karim Benzema in the team of Real Madrid. The height of the player is 193cm which makes him a handful along with his impressive left foot.
Arsenal are sweating on the fitness of two key players ahead of their biggest game of the season, the North London Derby clash with Tottenham Hotspur at home. The two players, Thomas Partey and OleksandrZinchenko are doubtful for the game billed to take place at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
For Zinchencko, the Ukrainian utility player didn’t make the Arsenal squad for the last league game at Brentford due to a calf injury picked up in training. He was absent as William Saliba, Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira scored to give Arsenal a 3-0 away win.Zinchenko is still a doubt for the Spurs game as he continues his recovery from the aforementioned calf problem which ensured that he missed the three Ukraine games in the just concluded international break.
Just like Zinchencko, Arsenal skipper Martin Odegaard also missed the Brentford game due to a knock. However, he has returned to action after playing twice for Norway during the international break. Odegaard is in line to play the Spurs game after his appearance against Slovenia in the UEFA Nations League last week and his outing against Serbia in the same competition this week.
Premier League leaders Arsenal are massive favourites ahead of their home game with Fulham who are one of the newly promoted teams in the English top flight this season. Fulham won the English Championship title last season to secure promotion to the Premier League and they were joined by Bournemouth who finished in second spot and Nottingham Forest via the Championship playoffs.
North London giants Arsenal have made a bright start to the new Premier League season and they are at the top of the table after becoming the only team to retain their perfect start to the new season at the end of the third week. The Gunners might need to beat Fulham at hometo retain their spot at the Premier League summit.
Arsenal began their latest Premier League campaign with an impressive away win over Palace. The Gunners recorded a 2-0 win with a goal in each half. Brazilian star Gabriel Martinelli was responsible for the first Arsenal goal in the first half while English centre back Marc Guehi put through his own net from a Bukayo Saka cross towards the end of the game to seal the win for the Gunners. Another Brazilian star in Gabriel Jesus then produced two goals and two assists to lead Arsenal to a 4-2 win at home to Leicester City for their second win in two league games. The Gunners made it three wins from three league outings with the 3-0 away win over newly promoted club Bournemouth last weekend.
For Fulham, they have one win and two draws from three league outings. The Cottagers drew with Liverpool (2-2) at home and Wolverhampton Wanderers (0-0) in their first two games before they saw off West London rivals Brentfordvia a 3-2 scoreline in their latest Premier League outing last weekend.
Real Betis star Bruno Iglesias is keen for Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin to return to the Spanish La Liga club this summer after his successful loan spell with the reigning Copa Del Rey champions last season. Real Betis want to sign Bellerin on a permanent deal after he impressed while on loan at his hometown club last season having joined as an Arsenal loanee last summer. The Spanish international had joined Los Verdiblancos on a season-long loan deal from the Gunners after he was deemed surplus to requirements.
Barcelona academy graduate Bellerin is back at Arsenal for preseason after his return to the club this summer. He played the first 45 minutes of the recent preseason friendly clash between Arsenal and home team Nuremberg. The Gunners came from behind to beat Nuremberg 5-3 for what was the second preseason game for the North London team.
On Bellerin, Bruno Iglesias told Spanish newspaper Marcathat he misses the Arsenal right-back. The Real Betis player added thathe spent around 90 minutes on video call with Bellerin a few days ago to buttress his statement about missing him. According to Bruno Iglesias, he’s not the only one who misses Bellerin and that it’s the whole team. He said Bellerin contributed a lot to Real Betis last season and he’s hoping he can return to the club soon.
Bellerin played 23 times for Real Betis in the Spanish La Liga as they finished fifth. They also finished the season with a trophy (Copa Del Rey) as revealed earlier.
According to a report by Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal and Manchester United know how much they will need to shell out to secure the services of Marco Asensio in the summer transfer window. Real Madrid will demand between €30 million and €35 million for the Spanish forward. Marco Asensio has a big decision to make this summer as he will enter the final month of his Real Madrid contract in July. With talks between the two parties not progressing much thus far, the 26-year-old could leave Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, although he might not have any qualms about staying for another year.
Arsenal recently rejoined the race to sign Asensio from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window after re-establishing contact with his representatives. And with Nicolas Pepe’s long-term future up in the air, the Gunners might need to invest in a wide-attacker in addition to a striker. Asensio is thus a viable target for Arsenal, who will not be the only Premier League club vying for the signature of the Real Madrid forward. The Gunners face stiff competition from Manchester United in the race to sign the Spaniard.
Like Arsenal, Asensio is also in contact with Manchester United, who can address their long-standing issues on the right wing by signing the 26-year-old. With Mason Greenwood indefinitely suspended and Marcus Rashford blowing hot and cold, the Real Madrid forward is an option worth considering for Manchester United.
It looks as though Arsenal have their kits for the 2022/23 season in order despite there not being confirmation from the club just yet, one of which uses a bold colour pattern. Four wins from Arsenal’s last four games would guarantee a spot in the Champions League next season – a haul that would see the club qualify for the elite competition for the first time since the 2015/16 campaign.
That’s because it’s the time of the year again where fans get excited about their club’s new kits. Although there’s been no official confirmation from the powers that be, it looks as though Arsenal’ s new strips have been revealed online.
Whilst there’s usually always notable changes to both the style and colour of the second and third kits in particular, the Gunners have seemingly taken that notion a step further this time out. The leaked second jersey is predominantly black and combines with gold-metallic for all logos and grey for the three Stripes on the shoulders.
But it’s the third kit that’s a little bit more out there. That’s because if the leaks are to be believed, for the first time, Arsenal will don a pink strip.
As seen on FootyHeadlines, the Adidas Arsenal 2022-2023 third football shirt is mainly light pink. It is the first-ever pink shirt in the history of the north London club. On the front, you can see a pattern that consists of so-called ermines, which are often seen in coats of arms, for example. In this case, it’s derived from the old Arsenal badge.
Barcelona hold an interest in Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes, but the Gunners have no intention of selling the Brazilian and intend to offer him a new contract to keep hold of him. The 24-year-old has become a key figure at the Emirates since arriving from Lille in 2020, forming an encouraging partnership with Ben White at centre-back this season.
Football.London report that Arsenal are aware of the interest from Barcelona and do not want to listen to offers for a player that Mikel Arteta sees as an integral part of his plans for the years to come.
Back in September, Arteta said that the Brazilian is an incredible player with a great future at the Emirates Stadium and that he is currently giving them a lot on the pitch. The Gunners boss added that the player is stepping in, his language is much better and he can coach and communicate much better with his teammates. Arteta added that the defender understands what is wanted of him and said that he doesn’t think it gets much harder than playing in the Premier League.
Gabriel is under contract with Arsenal until 2025, so the Gunners would be under absolutely no pressure to sell if an offer came in from Barcelona. They are reportedly considering offering him a new deal, though, to prevent him pushing for a move, in case he would be tempted by the interest from Catalonia. Barcelona have also ready gotten Aubameyang from Arsenal and want to do the same thing with Gabriel.
Arsenal and Chelsea may be interested to know that Real Madrid flop Eden Hazard is reportedly confused and frustrated after continuing to be snubbed by manager Carlo Ancelotti. The Belgium international has struggled to show his best form during his time at the Bernabeu, partly due to fitness issues, which he believes are now behind him, according to Goal.
Hazard has also been linked with Arsenal by Foot Mercato in recent times, and it makes sense that the 31-year-old is still highly regarded in the Premier League after being such a world class performer at Stamford Bridge for so many years. Even if Hazard has never quite got going in Madrid, he could surely still have plenty to offer to clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea right now.
Thomas Tuchel would likely view Hazard as an upgrade on the likes of Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner, who haven’t been able to fill that void left by Hazard when he left the club in 2019. Arsenal, meanwhile, urgently need an upgrade on the out-of-form and out-of-favour Nicolas Pepe, and they seem to have a good relationship with Real Madrid following recent deals for the likes of Martin Odegaard and Dani Ceballos.
There is currently no indication that Hazard will be signing for Arsenal this summer, as he’s been more linked with a return to Stamford Bridge where he made a name for himself as an established world-class player. The summer transfer window is expected to be a really interesting one given the loads of speculations and rumors that are currently making the rounds.
Pierre Aubameyang has become a sort of headache for Arsenal. The Gabonese was recently stripped of the captain’s armband while also missing a few games for disciplinary reasons. To complicate matters, he went with the Gabon side to the African Nations Cup only to be sent back home for disciplinary reasons.
Aubameyang is bad news lately, and the North London club is running out of patience. The frontman is currently one of the highest-paid players in the premier league, he’s on £350,000-a-week which would be a huge barrier in any attempt to force the player out. Arsenal has been linked to Dusan Vlahovic as they try to sign a striker that would be committed to their cause.
Saudi Arabian side Al Nassar has offered to sign the player on a loan deal until the end of the season. Arsenal has already confirmed that they would be considering offers for their highest-paid players, and would more than welcome the opportunity to save needed funds on a loan deal for the striker.
The loan deal would also come with an obligation to buy, which would be massive news for Arsenal as they seek to do a player that has caused them a lot of problems over the last 24 months. For Aubameyang, this would be the perfect opportunity to leave the gruesome attention that comes with playing in the best league in the world.
Though Aubameyang has played 15 times this season, while also chipping in four league goals. He has not featured for Arteta since December 6th, when he featured in the game against Everton, a game that ended in a 2*1 defeat. Aubameyang is currently in London, as he seeks to recover from complications of Covid19 that he tested positive to while in camp with Gabon at the AFCON.
Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson is a major doubt ahead of the Premier League clash with Arsenal at home after he went off injured during the second half of the World Cup 2022 qualifier between his Scotland side and visitors Denmark at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Monday night.
Denmark had a very good record in the qualifiers ahead of the Scotland as they were hoping to make it ten wins from ten games with an away victory over the Steve Clarke-led team. The Danes had amassed a record of 27 maximum points from nine games before they faced Robertson and his Scotland teammates.
Scotland were able to clinch their 2-0 win over the Danes with the second goal scored by Southampton striker Che Adams four minutes from time for hi second goal in as many qualifiers. The Saints attacker had been on target as Scotland beat hosts Moldova 2-0 in the first of their two qualifiers this month.
Liverpool have a lot of injury problems ahead of the visit of Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend and the injury to left-back Robertson is an additional source of worry for manager Klopp and his coaching staffs.
If Robertson is not able to make it in time for the Arsenal game, Klopp will definitely turn his attention to Greek national team star KostantinosTsimikas, an £11m signing from Olympiakos in the Greek top flight at the start of last season. Tsimikashas already deputised for Robertson in some games this season and he might be called on to do same against Arsenal on Saturday evening.
