A fresh new name has been announced with the confirmation of a new headlining celebrity chef joining the line up at the new Downtown Disney Earl of Sandwich pop-punk tavern and eatery. Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby will sit atop the under-construction 2-story expansion with the lower level featuring the newest location for the popular Earl of Sandwich fast casual dining spot.
Here’s everything we know so far about Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby in Downtown Disney.

As previously announced, the restaurant will two stylish outdoor terraces, a lively bar area, and signature indoor booths.

Exactly on par with last year’s increases, Disneyland Resort announced changes to its prices prices and — effective today — it will now now cost most visitors more than ever to get into the Happiest Place on Earth. The highest increases can be found on the most luxe offerings, namely park hopper tickets and Magic Key annual passes, while popular amenities such as Lightning Lane and Parking also see hefty bumps.
Here’s everything you need to know about the 2025 Disneyland Resort price increases.
Disney’s complicated 7-tier system for demand-pricing on tickets remains in place and once again the lowest “Tier 0” tickets follows trend for the past several years by NOT raising the $104 per person per day price tag. However, just about everything else has gone up.
You’ll be spending the most money on a $314 Tier 6, 1-Day, adult Parkhopper while the least you can expect to spend will be for a $104 Tier 0, 1-Day, 1-Park adult ticket. Magic Key annual passes have also increased in price, ranging from $599-$1,899.
Thankfully, other services have NOT increased including the newly-rebranded Lightning Lane Multi-Pass which still starts at $30 per ticket per day depending on the day and standard Parking which still starts at $35 per standard automobile.
See below a quick highlight of the 2024 pricing increases at the Disneyland Resort.
Tickets are sold at seven different pricing levels depending on Disney’s anticipated demand for the day of your visit.

Magic Key passes may or may not be available for purchase at various times throughout the year and may only be available for renewals of existing passes.
* Only available for Southern California Residents living in zip codes 90000 to 93599

The cherished Storybook Land Canal Boats attraction at Disneyland will reopen from its refurbishment with a special new addition celebrating the fan-favorite Walt Disney Animation Studios story of TANGLED.
Here’s what we know about the 2025 updates at Storybook Land Canal Boats in Disneyland.
Touted as part of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, the fantastical waterways of the Storybook Land Canal Boats will soon be home to Rapunzel’s Tower — located just between the iconic Patchwork Quilt and esteemed Toad Hall.
Boulders and greenery around the shingled tower will evoke the serene setting from TANGLED. Plus, multiple wanted posters seeking Flynn Rider dot the stone wall, and even in miniature, they still couldn’t get Flynn’s nose right.
Plus, there’s even more magic further down the waterway where a a secluded dock with a boat inspired by the one from the film will sit at the edge of the water. The scene is framed by a trail of twinkling lights winding up a trellis on the bridge evoking the magical lanterns. During the day, you’ll hear a charming arrangement of “When Will My Life Begin?” and after dusk, you’ll hear the indelible “I See the Light.”
Storybook Land Canal Boats reopen at Disneyland “this winter” which we caveat technically ends March 20, 2026, giving Disney a fairly wide berth to bring this attraction to port.

We visited this year’s event with hosted admission. Here’s our honest thoughts on what we thought about the haunted house mazes at 2025 Fright Fest at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
We have a loose ranking of all the haunted house mazes this year to help you prioritize your plan of attack. Keep in mind, experiences vary WILDLY depending on the luck of the flow.
Here’s a closer look at each of the experiences including our thoughts on how each one ranks this year.
We’ll share more pictures soon!
RATING:
REVIEW: This is by far the most clever of the mazes offered in the park. Instead of relying on tried and true gore and jump scares, this is a surreal dream — or nightmare that you cannot escape. Surreal and creepy, this is a great one.
SYNOPSIS: The unknown lurking around every corner will leave you questioning your every move in a warped game of Truth or Dare. We double dare you to play.
RATING:
REVIEW: Probably the most impressive maze in terms of set design and scenics. You’re transported right into creepy and well-crafted world.
SYNOPSIS: The Willoughby’s family mansion tale unfolds before your eyes at this once-affluent Victorian mansion that has become a haven to evil spirits.
RATING:
REVIEW: Sometimes mazes can feel really routine and this one breaks that old making you walk through tight spaces, crouching to get through, on top of regular fun scares.
SYNOPSIS: Dare to go inside this dilapidated home where the walls are alive with souls who unleash their fury.
RATING:
REVIEW: This one is not as luxe as some of the other mazes but the vibes here are ominous and unnerving. Lots of great scares in here.
SYNOPSIS: Demonic relics and obsolete oddities are locked in an abandoned vault in this dark and sinister antique shop, with possessions many die to have. Will you make it out alive?
RATING:
REVIEW: With the newbie for this year could have ranked a little higher for us. Maybe it was just our walkthrough but while we loved the colorful splashes of color here, it felt like there were a lot of empty spaces here making some of the scares less impacful.
SYNOPSIS: Enter the chaotic fortress of the original true villain, CARNAGE. This is your origin story, your path to becoming a disciple of the most villainous clown in a city under siege. With every step you take, you become possessed with the evil around you. If you survive, let your darkness forever rage on for CARNAGE.
RATING:
REVIEW: This is a criminally underrated cult hit for the Halloween season and the maze does a serviceable job of bringing the twisted and iconic visuals to life but scares can be hit or miss from the pint-sized creeper.
SYNOPSIS: Based on the darkly comic Halloween classic: enter into a world where tricks dominate treats, and learn the season’s rules before setting out into this twisted Candy Trail nightmare. This spine-chilling experience will test your bravery and make you think twice before trick-or-treating again.
RATING:
REVIEW: This one is a mixed bag in more ways than one. We’ve got a taste of every creep, demon and ghoulie from the franchise and it’s a good time with some great scares.
SYNOPSIS: Based on New Line Cinema’s iconic horror franchise: enter the Warrens’ occult museum where their most terrifying cases await. Face Annabelle’s malevolent stare, flee from The Nun’s unholy presence, and survive the Perron farmhouse’s demonic forces. Each cursed artifact awakens ancient evil. Tonight, you’re not just observing their cases; you’ve become part of them.
RATING:
REVIEW: This is effective at recreating the sheer terror of the traps inflicted on the poor victims but this IP has always felt like a tough one to to translate into a successful maze.
SYNOPSIS: Step into the world of SAW with a diabolical experience honoring the franchise’s legacy of terror by plunging into the depths of Jigsaw’s twisted mind. Traverse iconic scenes inspired by the films and come face to face with some of John Kramer’s most diabolical contraptions before time runs out.
Nearly nowhere is safe walking around the park. New scare zones this year include: Thunderbolt Alley where classic monsters meet a 1950s Rockabilly sensibility with a horror twist and Nightmares: Reign of Blood unlocking a new chapter of fear in a twisted take on the classic tales in Wonderland.
Popular scare zones from last year have also returned including Plaza de la Muerte which brings together the eerie and vibrant traditions of Día de los Muertos; Underworlds of Oz explores a darker; twisted version of Oz where enchantments turn nightmarish; Grimmlore Ridge which is a realm of shadowy branches and the haunting calls of ravens; City Under Siege with clowns causing chaos with sinister laughter and unsettling grins; CarnivHELL features a circus overrun by carnivorous carnies; Nightmares: A Twisted Fantasy presents childhood stories turned into unsettling nightmares; Devil’s Triangle takes you into the ocean’s depths, haunted by the souls lost there; The Deadzone is overrun by cyberpunk zombies feeding on the unwary; and Exile Hill which is filled with sinister souls lurking in the dark passage.
