Getting back on topic... Air leaks don't always mean a faulty bellows. Badly fitted pallets are the next place to suspect. Pallets that don't lie flat, or don't fully cover the air holes. Tiny cracks...

I always wondered whether the 'diddly diddly' was a half reference to lilting - a means of expressing a tune using the voice rather than an instrument - rather than simply a pejorative term for Irish ...
