LOL, don't rename the one in template images folder but you need rename your new image as the same as the old one and replace/overwrite the old one in images folder.

I am wrong somewhere . Can you please show step by step the whole process of change. I do not understand where and what to prescribe? I rename one images but on the site slides is same images.

Go to folder: public_html/templates/<template_name>/images/ You can find image there, to change you just need to rename your new image and overwrite the old one. Image name: image-1-large.jpg image-1...
